NYC Negotiating To Move Migrants Into Luxury Midtown Hotel, Report

Mayor Eric Adams reportedly plans to convert the Row NYC, once known as the 'Lullaby of Broadway, into an intake center and shelter for as many as 600 migrant families.

  • City officials and hotel management are “working on an agreement, a contract,” an unnamed source told The New York Post.
  • The migrants are being sent to NYC from Texas, which is struggling to accommodate them amid a record number of southern U.S. border crossings.
  • Cost per standard room in mid-September, about when hotel could begin housing migrants, reportedly ranges from $414.42 to $435.07 a night, with taxes and fees.
