- City officials and hotel management are “working on an agreement, a contract,” an unnamed source told The New York Post.
- The migrants are being sent to NYC from Texas, which is struggling to accommodate them amid a record number of southern U.S. border crossings.
- Cost per standard room in mid-September, about when hotel could begin housing migrants, reportedly ranges from $414.42 to $435.07 a night, with taxes and fees.
