- As closing arguments ended in the double murder trial of Alex Murdaugh, O.J. Simpson, who spent his share of time on the stand, weighed in on the case.
- “A whole lot of people asking me what I think about this Alex Murdaugh trial,” Simpson said. “I don’t know why they think I’m an expert.”
- Simpson said he watched when Murdaugh take the stand, calling him a “habitual liar.”
- “I thought it probably was a mistake ’cause the guy is an admitted liar,” Simpson said.
- “When the trial first started, I watched him take the stand, and I thought it would probably be a mistake because the guy is an admitted liar, and it’s hard for me to think he can be on the same 5,6,7,8 days without lying. The question is, what it is a lie about? But lying and stealing money is a little different than murder,” said Simpson.
