All eyes today will be on Florida as former President Donald Trump considers how to approach a New York jury’s 30-count indictment. One thing is for sure: Gov. Ron DeSantis won’t help in any extradition of Trump. Another thing is true too: Trump can still be elected and serve even if indicted and convicted.
Trump’s indictment is stirring up the 2024 race. Mike Pence is in Iowa, but voters are asking if he is tough enough to be president. He’s a polling cellar-dweller but hopeful Iowa will give him a pop.
In East Palestine, Ohio, Norfolk Southern is doing the right thing and hiring locals to help in the cleanup of its derailment disaster.
