Trump Says Will Stay In ’24 Race Even If Indicted

  • Former President Trump said Saturday, before going on stage at the 2023 CPAC event that he would remain in the 2024 presidential race even if he is indicted in a state or federal investigations he faces.
  • “Oh, absolutely, I won’t even think about leaving,” Trump told reporters who asked the question about the possible roadblock of being indicted.
  • He also said an indictment: “Probably, it’ll enhance my numbers, but it’s a very bad thing for America. It’s very bad for the country.”
  • To be sure, Trump since shortly after entering the 2016 presidential race has campaigned on the idea that Democrats, liberal, the so-called “deep state,” the mainstream media and others  out to get him only strengths his support among voters.
