Ohio Democrat Senator Brown About To Draw First ’24 GOP Challenger

Matt Dolan, a state senator who lost in the 2022 GOP Senate primary last year Vance, is expected to announce his bid this week.

  • Brown says he intends to seek reelection in 2024.
  • Republicans consider the seat a good pickup opportunity, considering Ohio has in recently years increasingly move from a swing state to a GOP-leaning one.
