- Steven Goncalves, father of 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, said it was obvious that either his daughter or Madison Mogen, 21, was targeted in the attack
- He said because Kaylee and Madison were killed while sleeping on the third floor and the killer entered on the second, one of them must have been targeted
- Goncalves’ comments come days after police retracted a statement made by detectives who said they were certain that one or two residents were targeted
