Pentagon has gotten distracted, critics say

  • As the Pentagon struggles to fill the weapons and equipment requests for the war in Ukraine, taxpayer dollars are being used to pay for ongoing diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the military.
  • The Pentagon sent more than a decade’s worth of Stinger missiles to Ukraine when the war broke out, and now, would struggle to manufacture enough precision missiles if war with China broke out, a New York Times report found.
  • A report by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas outlined numerous examples of racial and gender ideology permeating military training, policies and leadership, all on the taxpayer dime.
