- Biden again excoriated “MAGA Republicans,” shorthand for the political ideology of former President Trump and his Make America Great Again followers.
- President also used his stump time to appeals to members of union, a key Democrat voting bloc.
- “The middle class built America,” Biden told a workers at park grounds in Milwaukee. “Everybody knows that. But unions built the middle class.”
- Trump spoke Saturday night in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, were Biden spoke Monday.
