A golf game for the App Store as well as Google Play inspired by President-elect Donald Trump is set to launch. The app, called “Trump Golf: The Game” is available for preorder ahead of the holidays.
An X account associated with the game posted a short clip of gameplay showing the likeness of the president-elect playing one of his favorite pastimes. A caption to the game read, “The Greatest Golf Game Ever Created. TrumpGolf.com.”
Trump Gold, the luxury brand of golfing gear associated with Trump shared the video clip and said that the game was available for pre-order. In the video of Trump golfing, a voice like his is heard saying, “Look at that beautiful swing. Isn’t it perfect? Well now you too can play as me at TrumpGolf.Game now. The greatest golf game ever created.”
Pre-order purchases available with the game include a Golden Trump Driver that says it has “extreme Trump power” and provides “increased accuracy” in the game, costing $9. Additionally, a purchase can be made for the Trump Noir version of the driver, which is $99.
The noir version of the driver has “full Trump power” and provides “max accuracy.” The gold has a limited supply and the noir version has an “extremely limited supply,” according to the game’s pre-order landing page.
Gameplay appears to be third person with those controlling the game playing as Trump on different golf courses that he owns. One of the holes that is played in a preview of the game is at Trump National Doral, Blue Monster.
