  • A Florida State University professor has suddenly quit his $190,000-a-year job after he was caught pushing fake data on racism studies.
  • Eric Stewart, who had spent 16 years at FSU, abruptly left the school after allegations emerged that he faked data to make his studies exaggerate racism.
  • Stewart, who had six of his studies retracted, has been absent from the college since mid-March. He hasn’t returned since a new investigation was launched over his work.
  • The allegations have renewed scrutiny over claims that he fabricated data by altering sample sizes to make the results appear more racist, the Florida Standard reports.
