- Gregory Hahn, a prospective juror in a North Carolina court, had to spend 24 hours in jail for refusing to wear a mask.
- Hahn, 47, was found in contempt of court and booked without bond by North Carolina Superior Court Judge Charles Gilchrist.
- North Carolina’s statewide mask mandate for most indoor settings was lifted more than a year ago, but Gilchrist is the only judge who still enforces it in the courthouse.
