- Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren was scheduled to speak at the University of New Mexico Sept. 15, but a hate group chanting “F*ck Tomi Lahren” put an end to those plans.
- Lahren, her father and members of the Talking Points USA chapter had to barricade themselves in a back room while police called for backup.
- The rioters, organized by a group called Political Fireball, made their plans known before Lahren’s presentation, but the university did nothing to prevent the violence. It reached the point where New Mexico police had to escort Lahren off campus.
