Rep. Eric Swalwell In Hot Water For Alleged Misuse Of Campaign Funds

Democrat comes under fire — this time not for relationship with Chinese spy

  • Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell, who was removed from the House Intelligence Committee for having a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy, is under scrutiny for the alleged misuse of campaign funds.
  • The Washington Free Beacon reported that Swalwell spent more money on luxury accommodations and travel than former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
  • Swalwell also has dipped into campaign funds for child care, which could result in an ethics complaint.
