Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is back on Capitol Hill Tuesday, testifying before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on President Trump’s fiscal 2027 budget request.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are likely to press Kennedy on sweeping changes to the childhood vaccine schedule, his “Make America Healthy Again” agenda and proposed cuts to the agency’s budget. Last week, during three separate hearings, the HHS chief largely tried to avoid talking about vaccines, instead leaning into messaging about food and drug pricing.
Kennedy will also face questioning in the Senate later Tuesday.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
