• The surviving man whom Kyle Rittenhouse shot during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha, Wis., is suing him and Wisconsin officials involved in handling the case.
• Gaige Grosskreutz, the only survivor among three men whom the 17-year-old Rittenhouse shot, is seeking damages for “emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,” Fox News reported. Two others — Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber — were fatally shot by Rittenhouse during the Aug. 25, 2020, riot.
• Grosskreutz accused the Kenosha Police Department and County Sheriff’s Department of refusing to view Rittenhouse, who carried an AR-15 style rifle at the riot, as a threat to safety.
