- The suspect in a Monday mass shooting in the San Francisco Bay Area town of Half Moon Bay faces seven counts of murder, among other charges, the San Mateo District Attorney’s office announced Wednesday.
- Chunli Zhao will also face one count of attempted murder, a special circumstance allegation of multiple murder, and firearm use enhancements for each murder charge, the LA Times reported.
- Zhao first allegedly killed four and injured one more victim at a mushroom farm, before driving to a second farm where he killed three more, the Associated Press reported. Zhao appears to have worked at both farms.
