School Choice Movement Gathers Steam Across The US

  • More states are making school-choice legislation a priority by expanding the use of school vouchers that would give K-12 students the chance to choose their schools.
  • States such as Florida and Arizona have signed expansive school legislation.
  • Utah, New Hampshire and South Carolina are among the other states pushing legislation to expand school choice.
  • “We need to continue to knock down the barriers parents face and work towards truly funding our students – not systems – and allow Missouri students to find their best educational fit,” Missouri State Rep. Josh Hurlbert told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
