Search Continues For 3 Americans Missing On Mexico Sailing Trip

Last communication was on April 4

  • Authorities have reported that the Mexican Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard are jointly conducting a search operation for three American men who went missing in the Pacific Ocean during a sailing trip earlier this month.
  • The men departed from Mazatlan in western Mexico on a 44-foot sailboat called Ocean Bound, as per the Mexican Secretariat of the Navy.
  • Their plan was to stop in Cabo San Lucas on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula on April 6 to restock their supplies before continuing their journey to San Diego, which was supposed to take two days.
  • The last communication with the men was on April 4, and they have been missing since then.
