- On Wednesday, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, a 15-year-old boy drowned while in rough waters of the Atlantic.
- According to the most recent reports Sunday, thousands of people in New England and Maritime Canada were without power, as Lee, downgraded from hurricane status, headed further north to New Brunswick and the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
