Speaking to CNN, former federal prosecutor Elie Honig told Anderson Cooper that Kohrs’s interviews were “a prosecutor’s nightmare,” adding: “Mark my words, Donald Trump’s team is going to make a motion, if there’s an indictment, to dismiss that indictment based on grand jury impropriety. She’s not supposed to be talking about anything, really. But she’s really not supposed to be talking about the deliberations.”
- On MSNBC, Frank Figliuzzi, a former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, told Stephanie Ruhle: “In my 25 years with the FBI, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a grand juror of any kind, special or otherwise, come out and speak like this…. I am deeply troubled by the fact that this much disclosure is going on in this process, and I think it has legal ramifications.”
