- Trump held smaller events in his winning 2016, but he and his campaign were known for their raucous stadium-style event in which Trump would whip up the crowd.
- The former president speeches appear more policy oriented than typically pugnacious, but still was critical of President Biden and his policies.
- “Joe Biden has put America on the fast track to ruin and destruction,” Trump told the small crowd at the capitol in South Carolina, “and we will ensure that he does not receive four more years.”
