  • The tippy-toe parade, titled “Hope in High Heels,” was part of an effort by Halton Women’s Place, which helps abused women and their dependent children, to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
  • Halton Women’s Place has written of Hope in High Heels, “This was originally created as an avenue for men and boys to show support for women experiencing domestic violence by wearing hot pink heels.
