In its recently released Swimsuit Edition magazine, Sports Illustrated featured singer and songwriter Kim Petras, a biological male, on its cover wearing a two-piece swimsuit.
The magazine celebrated Petras as one of the “28 incredible women” in the edition.
Petras, a Grammy award winner, claimed to take pride in being a source of inspiration for the transgender community, while also using the platform to encourage individuals to pursue their aspirations regardless of gender or sexuality.
