Squad Member Tests Positive For COVID, Working Remotely

  • Representative Cori Bush (D-Missouri) announced on Wednesday that she has received a positive COVID-19 test result and will be operating remotely in the upcoming days, particularly as the possibility of a government shutdown is on the horizon.
  • In a message posted on X, formerly Twitter, the congresswoman based in St. Louis shared, “I have tested positive for COVID-19 & I am experiencing symptoms. Per CDC guidelines, I am in isolation. While I’m unable to be present for in-person legislative business, I’m working remotely to ensure continued service for St. Louis, especially considering the looming government shutdown that the GOP has initiated.”
