A New York judge has scheduled the trial of Steve Bannon for May 27, 2024, regarding allegations of defrauding fundraising donors.
Bannon, who surrendered himself to New York State authorities in September, has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy, money laundering and scheme to defraud.
The accusations against Bannon stem from his involvement in a fundraising campaign to construct a border wall along the southern border. He is accused of diverting funds to his associates. In April 2022, Brian Kolfage and Andrew Badolato pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in relation to this case.
