- Real estate tracker Zumper analyzed rental data from more than one million active listings in the U.S. and found that New York City is the most expensive city for rentals.
- In New York City, a one-bedroom apartment rents for a median of $3,860 per month.
- Rounding out the top ten list, New York City is followed by: Boston, San Francisco, San Jose, Miami, San Diego, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Oakland, and Santa Ana.
