Suspect Charged With Murder Of Late Japanese PM

  • On Friday, Japanese prosecutors officially charged the suspect in the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
  • Tetsuya Yamagami was charged with murder, in addition to violating a gun control law, and will now stand trial.
  • Yamagami has reportedly admitted to police that he killed Abe because of his links to the Unification Church.
