- Sen. Ted Cruz has called on new Twitter owner Elon Musk to allow controversial author and speaker Jordan Peterson back onto the platform.
- Peterson was suspended from Twitter for referring to transgender actor Eliot Page – previously Ellen Page – as “her,” violating Twitter’s “hateful conduct” rule.
- Peterson vowed never to delete the Tweet, and Elon indicated his support, saying “anyone suspended for minor and dubious reasons will be freed from Twitter jail.”
