The Town Fetterman Claims He Saved

Residents criticize Democratic candidate John Fetterman’s claims that he brought their town back to life

  • Residents of Braddock, Pennsylvania, where Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate John Fetterman served as mayor, criticized his claims that he brought the small town back to life.
  • A 61-year-old resident who spent most of his life in Braddock laughed at Fetterman’s stories and said the former mayor, “Brought [Braddock] back to what? Life? Come on. Look around you, there ain’t no life here, nothing is rebuilt here, nobody brought anything back, it got worse.”
  • Another resident, who was recently laid-off resident, said she has issues with Fetterman’s narratives that he made life better in Braddock. “Job creation, what job creation?” she said. “You mean the Family Dollar Store over there?”
