• Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is speaking out about the recent news that returning Disney CEO Bob Iger expresses regret about being dragged into a culture war regarding Florida’s “Parental Rights In Education” bill.
• “These are parents’ rights, important policies in our state that are very popular, and so they brought this on themselves. All we did was stand up for what’s right. And, yes, they’re a big, powerful company. But you know what? We stand up for our folks,” DeSantis told Tucker Carlson on Fox News.
• The “Parental Rights In Education” law effectively bans comprehensive sexual education, including pro-LGBT content and gender ideology from being taught in the classroom between Kindergarten and 3rd grade.
