- You can say this about Oregon tight end Cam McCormick: The man doesn’t give up easily.
- McCormick grew up in Bend, Ore., and originally arrived at Oregon in January 2016, when Barack Obama still had nine months remaining in his presidency.
- Because of several major industries, his stay at Oregon keeps getting prolonged. But he keeps coming back, and now is contemplating playing his eighth season in Eugene.
- One other note: There’s a possibility that McCormick actually could play a ninth season of college football.
