Tragedy struck in Detriot on Sunday after the Detriot Lions’ NFL loss to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.
Following the game at the Ford Field Arena, a fan was shot dead while another fan was critically injured during an altercation.
According to multiple reports, the fan who passed away, who was a Detriot resident in his 40s was shot dead following a dispute at around 4:30 pm local time.
The incident took place at the tailgate in the Eastern Market area near the Lions’ home stadium.
Apart from the fan who was shot dead, another fan was injured critically.
The suspect has been taken into custody by the police.
