Trans Disc Golfer Wins Women’s Tournament In New State After California Ban

In an event that sparked controversy, a transgender female disc golfer, who had previously been banned from participating in a California competition, won in a women’s tournament held in Virginia.

Natalie Ryan, a biological male, triumphed over five other women in the Lake Marshall Open in Montross, earning a payout of $356,.

According to Disc Golf Scene, Ryan achieved a winning score of 197 over three rounds, outperforming second-place finishers Debbie Yoo and Kaitlyn Clay, who accumulated scores of 221.
