- The former president also said Zeldin, from the state’s Long Island area, is “strong on the Border, Crime, our great Military & Vets.”
- Trump also said about Zeldin in his endorsement on the Truth Social app: “I have watched and known [him] for many years. He is a great and brilliant lawyer who was a ‘must see’ for others in Congress when they had a complex legal problem that was holding up legislation.”
- With Election Day less than a month away, Zeldin has narrowed Hochul’s double-digit lead in the polls to make the race competitive.
