The GOP may hold as many as 10 debates in the 2024 campaign cycle, but former President Donald Trump may skip the first two, sources say.
The Trump campaign indicated to the Republican National Committee that he doesn’t plan to attend a potential August debate or the second one scheduled to be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California,
Trump also suggested in a post on his Truth Social media platform last week that he was weighing plans to skip the debates altogether.
