Trump Passes On Judge’s Sunday Night Deadline To Take Stand In Rape Case

U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan gave former President Trump until 5 p.m. Sunday to file a request to testify in the two-week trial that closed last week.

New York advice columnist E. Jean Carroll has accused Trump raping her in a luxury department store dressing room in 1996.

Carroll is seeking compensatory and punitive damages totaling millions of dollars.

Trump, who has already given a deposition in the civil trial, denies the allegation.
