Trump Up 2-1 Over DeSantis Among GOP, But Voters Are Vexed With Choice

  • Former President Donald Trump’s national polling lead over top challenger Ron DeSantis has expanded, and now, he tops the Florida Republican governor by nearly 2-1.
  • The latest Rasmussen Reports survey put Trump ahead, 58%-30% among Republican voters.
  • Republicans, though, appear vexed by the Trump-DeSantis choice. While they chose Trump over DeSantis in the primaries, they also predicted that DeSantis had a 54% chance of winning the primaries.
