• The federal government’s three branches are garnering the lowest level of trust from Americans in history, according to Gallup.
• The polling firm reported that all three branches of government are underwater – only 43 percent expressed confidence in the executive branch, 38 percent in the legislative branch and 47 percent. in the judicial branch.
• “The latest decline in Americans’ trust in the judicial branch of the federal government … means this is the first time that none of the three branches is trusted by a majority of Americans,” Gallup said.
