• Two-thirds of Californians say Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein is unfit to serve in Congress after recently returning to work following health issues, according to a poll released Thursday.
• Pictures of a frail, 89-year-old Feinstein moving through the halls of Congress in a wheelchair after a three-month absence have been hard to look at.
•  Sixty-seven percent of respondents cited the senator’s recent health issues, agreeing with the statement, “Feinstein’s latest illness underlines the fact that she is no longer fit to continue serving in the U.S. Senate.”
• Respondents also agree that she should resign immediately and allow Gov. Gavin Newsom to appoint someone in her place.
