Ukraine: Russian Soldiers Are Drunk, Morale Low, Weapons Obsolete

- The Ukrainian military claims that soldiers in Russia’s newly formed 3rd Army Corps are often drug, have low morale and are using obsolete weapons.
- The 3rd Army, composed of some 15,000 mostly volunteer soldiers, was assembled in June to troops who had been killed or injured since the war began in February.
- Aside from the other problems, members of the 3rd Army have been known to abandon their posts and ignore orders, according to the Ukrainian military.
