- A homeless man with at least 18 prior arrests and wanted in connection with at least two sex crimes was arrested Thursday in connection to the rape of a jogger in the West Village on Thursday morning, law enforcement sources said.
- The 29-year-old suspect — who has yet to be charged in connection with any of the attacks — allegedly attacked the 43-year-old woman while she was out for a run at Pier 45 around 5:30 a.m., according to sources.
- He’s also wanted in the sexual assault of another jogger at Pier 40 on March 27, as well as in the attempted rape of a third woman on Oct. 6.
