US Developing Satellite System To Track Hypersonic Weapons

- The United States will spend more than $1 billion to develop advanced satellites to better track hypersonic missile threats.
- The Pentagon said Monday that it hopes to put the detection and tracking systems into orbit around Earth by 2025.
- The Space Development Agency said the contracts will provide 28 satellites to protect against increasing threats from Russia and China.
