VA Board Of Supervisors Votes For 45% Raise For Them, 2% For Employees

  • The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted 8-2 Tuesday in favor of giving themselves up to a 45% raise, 7News has learned.
  • The proposal would increase salaries to between $125,000 and $130,000 for county supervisors and between $140,000 to $145,000 for Chairman Jeff McKay.
  • Right now, a county supervisor earns about $90,000 a year, while McKay is paid about $100,000 a year.
