Rep. Keith Self adjourned a hearing last week after an outburst over his calling Rep. Sarah McBride, who is a biological male, “Mr. McBride” instead of using a female title. Voters are unclear as to how they would respond in this situation.
If voters met a biological male who identified as a woman, 25% would feel most comfortable referring to that person as him, while 26% would prefer her. Another 13% wouldn’t be comfortable with either term, and 24% would be comfortable with both. Eleven percent (11%) simply aren’t sure.
