WATCH: Ian Sucks The Water Out Of Tampa Bay

  • Hurricane Ian appears to have sucked dry the waterways of Tampa Bay, as the hurricane’s movement have created a suction effect that exposed the seabed.
  • Ian’s strong winds apparently pushed the water away from the coast, out into the Gulf of Mexico. This is similar to what happened during Hurricane Irma in 2017.
