  • Hansel Emmanuel, a freshman basketball player at Northwestern State in Louisiana, had a layup and thunderous dunk in the Demons’ 91-73 victory over Louisiana-Monroe.
  • What makes that notable is that Emmanuel has only one arm.
  • Emmanuel was just 6 years old when a pile of cinderblocks fell on his left arm, causing damage so severe that doctors had to amputate below his left shoulder.
