White House Spox Kirby Says Kremlin Is ‘Lying’ About Ukraine Drone Attack

Hours after Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov blamed the U.S. for helping plot a drone attack with Ukraine on the Kremlin, a Biden spokesman said Russia is “just lying.”

National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Thursday: “I can assure you that there was no involvement by the United States. Whatever it was, it didn’t involve us.”

And he said that the Kremlin tale was a “ludicrous claim.”
