GOP Foe Trolls Whitmer For Skipping 'Her Last' Bridge Walk As Governor

  • For the past 57 years, every Michigan governor has led the annual Mackinac Bridge walk on Labor Day.
  • Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ended that tradition by failing to show up this year.
  • Her GOP opponent, Tudor Dixon, made the walk with her family, then tweeted, “It’s a shame Gretchen bailed on her last one as Governor!”
