Have you ever felt the urge to eat an entire chocolate cake? An opossum in Nebraska felt the same way.
In a Facebook post from Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, staffers said an opossum was admitted Monday after reportedly “devouring an ENTIRE Costco chocolate cake.”
A clinic note said the opossum was “panting a lot, however mobile and alert.”
Fortunately, with some time in rehab and a diet reset, the animal should be stabilized enough to return to the wild, the organization said.
“Until then, she is definitely a little cranky about our strict ‘zero chocolate’ policy!” the nonprofit wrote in the post.
Facebook commenters wished the animal well, but said her chocolate-loving antics were relatable.
