Kristin Cabot, the woman caught on camera in a romantic pose with a man who was not her husband at a Coldplay concert in July, has filed for divorce from her spouse.
The former Astronomer employee also left her position as Chief People Officer following the national attention given to the story. Now NBC News is reporting that Cabot filed a petition for divorce on August 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in a process that’s ongoing.
The documents say that a hearing is scheduled in the family division of New Hampshire’s 10th Circuit Court on November 26.
The internet has been obsessed with the alleged Astronomer affair scandal since it was made public following the July 16th Coldplay show.
A viral video shows Byron, who is also married, and Cabot embracing one another at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, when the kiss cam landed on them. The couple reacted immediately, with Byron letting go of Cabot and stepping out of frame. Cabot had a similar reaction as she immediately hid her face and turned away from the camera.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin called out their reaction. “Oh, look at these two,” the singer can be heard saying. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
